Accelerated Professionals is a ½ Public Speaking and ½ Mini-MBA in-person course that is offered on 7 consecutive Friday mornings. Each weekly session is 3.5 hours plus assignments.

The CONTENT and lecture of the program are designed specifically to teach young leaders the ‘language of the executive suite.’

The GOAL of this training experience is to turn out young professionals who are ‘Business Savvy & Presentation Ready.’

Listed below is the course breakdown by session that we follow during this ½ Mini MBA – ½ PUBLIC SPEAKING course.

COMMUNICATION

Lecture and discussion on The Science of Communications and Presentation Basics

PART A (no presentation scheduled)

PART B Introduce yourself to your small group, (name, where from, hobbies, first job ever, current job, public speaking experience, etc.) Then: Introduce yourself to the whole class.

LEADERSHIP

Lecture and discussion on leadership, including various videos

PART A Tell the small group the name of a past or present world leader you admire and why.

PART B Share with us one of the most enjoyable things you did when growing up.

SALES CONCEPTS

Lecture and discussion on Selling Techniques including various videos

PART A Tell the small group about when you were on the receiving end of a bad sales experience.

PART B (video taping) Present a situation from some point in your life when a leader stepped up and changed your life for the better. (Parent, Coach, Teacher, Boss, etc.)

STRATEGIC PLANNING

Lecture and discussion on Strategic Planning Methods with various videos

PART A Tell the small group about your brief SWOT and your personal improvement goal for the next 12 months.

PART B (video taping) Present an important upcoming situation where you need to sell an idea (business or personal).  What sales concept will you use and how will both parties win?

READ THE MONEY

Lecture and discussion on Balance Sheet, P&L, & Statement of Cash Flow along with various videos

PART A Tell the small group what you think is the biggest money making “opportunity” facing your business/industry today and why.

PART B (video taping) Present a brief SWOT analysis for a business you admire (not your current employer) and what you think their #1 goal should be for the next 12 months.

SUMMARY & REVIEW OF ALL PREVIOUS SESSIONS

Review and discussion of the most important points of each previous session

PART A (no presentation scheduled)

PART B  Along with your group, you will each present for your assigned company, one of the following: the Balance Sheet; P&L, or Selected Ratios to recommend if we should invest in this company.

FINAL PRESENTATION

5 minute presentation plus 2 minute Q&A 

Options:

  1. Convince the visiting venture capitalist to invest in your new or current business
  2. Proposal to Senior Management on how to promote a new product/service or improve a current product/service.

You can use SWOT Analysis & BCGM, BCGM, cash required/cost, ROI, selling strategy/management team, etc.

Leaders are developed, not made, imitated, or learned. Just like any professional, Executive Leaders and Key Managers will be helped with qualified, experienced professional coaching. Accelerated Professionals offers EXECUTIVE and MANAGEMENT COACHING for those committed to improving their leadership skills.

The minimum recommended coaching sessions are for two hours every other month. However, typically we coach individuals two sessions per month, each lasting 2 to 2 1/2 hours per session. With prescheduling, we can customize a program to work with your busy schedule, including meeting for an early dinner immediately after the work day.

Accelerated Professionals Co-Founders and Senior Staff will provide coaching tailored to the individual’s and company’s needs. The objective of the coaching is to help the individual understand their strengths and weaknesses. A plan is developed to help the individual move to his/her higher level of desired performance. The coaching sessions are designed to leverage the strengths and help the individual delegate task to others with the strengths to perform the tasks at lower levels.
